Walk With Me

Walk with me
To that place where we are meant to be
To Mars, Jupiter, Saturn
I’m not a burden
That’s what you say,
But I think otherwise if I may.

Walk with you head up high
Don’t frown, ignore, and then sigh.
If you didn’t like me, then why are you with me?
Every day I ask you if you want to be free.
You say no thinking you’re in love with thee.
But, I think otherwise, so you see.

Walk just slightly over.
Then again were known as lovers.
I know this relationship is unique.
Look at my past, you may peek.
So this time you’re the one who messed up badly.
It is time to let you go, I said quite sadly.

Walk with your toes, not heel.
I know just what you may feel.
Like you made a mistake?
Like you were acting fake?
It is ok; just ask for a second chance.
But I see you with that girl that walks around and prance.

Walk with me.
So people will see.
I took you back from the dead.
We wrote it out, using lead.
Say it loud, you are not free.
That’s why you will walk with me.
